Email address: If you enter your email address in the waitlist form or the "Notify me" form on this website, we store your email address. This is the only personal data we collect.

We do not collect:

• Name (unless you provide it)
• Location data
• Device identifiers beyond standard server logs
• Browsing history or behavioral tracking data

Technical data (server logs): When you visit this website, our hosting provider may automatically collect standard technical information including your IP address, browser type, and pages visited. This data is processed for security and performance purposes and is not linked to your identity. It is deleted within 30 days.

Session cookies: This website uses a single session cookie (atlas_visited) to count daily visitors. This cookie contains no personal data and expires at the end of your browser session. It is used solely to display an approximate visitor count on the website.

Your email address is used exclusively to:

• Notify you when new regions are added to the Atlas
• Notify you when a Watch List region receives a full assessment
• Send occasional updates about Atlas (infrequent — we respect your inbox)

We do not:

• Sell your email address to third parties
• Use your email for advertising purposes
• Share your data with marketing platforms

Your email address is stored in a database provided by Supabase, Inc. The database is hosted in the EU (Stockholm, Sweden) and is subject to EU data protection law.

Supabase processes data in accordance with GDPR. You can review Supabase's data processing terms at supabase.com/privacy.

We process your email address on the basis of your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You provide your email voluntarily and can withdraw your consent at any time.

Under GDPR, you have the following rights:

• Right of access — You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Right to rectification — You can request that inaccurate data be corrected.
• Right to erasure — You can request that your data be deleted at any time.
• Right to withdraw consent — You can withdraw your consent to email communications at any time, with no consequences.
• Right to lodge a complaint — You have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In Sweden, the relevant authority is the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten, IMY): www.imy.se

To remove your email address from our list, simply send an email to daria@thenewneighbor.app with the subject line "Unsubscribe" and your email address will be deleted promptly.

This website does not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any other third-party tracking or analytics tools. We do not track your behavior across websites.

The only cookie used on this website is a single session cookie (atlas_visited) for visitor counting purposes. It contains no personal data, is not used for tracking, and expires when you close your browser. No consent banner is required for this cookie under current EU guidance, as it is strictly functional and contains no personal data.

We may update this privacy policy occasionally. The date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent version. If significant changes are made, we will note them clearly.
